Lebanese dies in hit-and-run accident
The scene of the accident in which the two people sustained injuries. Two individuals – a Kuwaiti citizen and an Asian – sustained injuries when two vehicles collided and one of the vehicles toppled on Jahra Road.
According to security sources, securitymen rushed to the location with paramedics and firefighters after receiving information about the accident. Firefighters pulled out the Asian victim from his vehicle and referred him along with the Kuwaiti victim to Jahra Hospital.
The vehicles were removed from the road and the traffic was orga- nized. Investigations have been launched to determine the cause of the accident.
Meanwhile, a 37-year old Lebanese national died in a hit-and-run accident on Baghdad Street. The corpse was referred to the Forensics Department and investigations have been launched to identify the runaway driver.
