MP, minister tour Jahra
Top and above: Photos from Jahra Governorate inspection tour MP Askar Al-Enezi, along with Minister of Public Works and State Minister for National Assembly Affairs Dr Ali Al-Omair, conducted a field visit in various areas of Jahra Governorate, where they inspected infrastructure works in public facilities and streets in a bid to determine the needs of some areas and neglected parts of the governorate that require immediate intervention.
Officials from the ministry and members of the press were also part of the tour covering the wholesale market and its surrounding areas.
According to Al-Enezi, several roads require maintenance and new road expansions are necessary to reduce traffic jams in the area.
Meanwhile, Al-Omair issued directives to all officials, who accompanied him in the tour, to expedite maintenance works on damaged roads and the construction of a parallel street which will separate the wholesale market and Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Mosque.
The minister and accompanying officials were then invited to Al-Enezi’s diwaniya, where the lawmaker expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the minister’s quick response particularly in addressing the needs of the governorate.
