-- Kuwaiti racers have seized advanced places in the third round of Qatar International Endurocross, an offroad race championship.

On the 250CC 4-stroke race of E1 Class category, cyclist Mohammad Jaffer won second place, Mu’ath Al-Ansari seized third place, while the British rider Ryan Blair shined in first place.

Al-Ansari told KUNA, on Friday, that the race was “tough” and the competition was “fierce.” He expressed his appreciation to Basel Salem Al Sabah Motor Racing Club for supporting Kuwaiti cyclists in international and regional racing venues.

The Endurocross competition is an off-road race that is designed to test the endurance and off-road desert riding skills of the rider mixing enduro with motocross. Each race runs over a mix of different types of desert terrain and lasts for 30 minutes plus 1 lap.

The Championship is 4 rounds and each round consists of 2 races. There are 3 classes for motorcycles (E1, E2 and Veterans) and 1 class for quads.
