UIC holds general assembly meeting
The Union of Investment Companies (UIC) held its ordinary and extraordinary general assembly on Thursday inside Bahrah Hall of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Board Chairman Bader Al-Subai’e chaired the meeting which was attended by the Secretary-General Professor Ramadan Al-Sharrah.
Al-Subai’e presented the administrative and financial reports, which were unanimously approved by the attendees. This was immediately followed by the extraordinary meeting during which amendments were made to the regulations governing the union.
The two most notable of the amendments were the addition of new members to the union in line with fourteenth activity allowed by the Capital Market Authority. The second amendment was related to giving the union the prerogative to file lawsuits over issues affecting the general interests of the union and members.
