Al-Ghanim meets Hamacek:

National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim discussed, on Sunday, bilateral ties with visiting Czech Republic’s Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament chairman Jan Hamacek.
The two officials touched on an array of issues and shed light on the recent regional and international developments.
The meeting was attended by head of the Kuwaiti-Czech parliamentary friendship committee Mubarak Al-Khurainij, MPs, Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Czech Aymen Al-Adsani and Czech Ambassador to Kuwait Martin Vitek. After the talks, Al-Ghanim held a lunch banquet for Hamacek. Hamacek and his accompanying delegation arrived in the country Sunday for a few days official visit. (KUNA)
Kuwait, Sudan FMs meet:
First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah held a lunch banquet for visiting Sudanese Foreign Minister Professor Ibrahim Ghandour.
The lunch was attended by attended by Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah, Assistant Foreign Minister Ambassador Sheikh Dr Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, Assistant Foreign Minister for Protocols Ambassador Dhari Al-Ajran, Assistant Foreign Minister at the Arab Affairs department Ambassador Aziz Al-Daihani, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Sudan Talal Al-Hajri and Sudanese ambassador to Kuwait Mohi Al-Deen Salim Ahmed. (KUNA) 12 supervisors to retire: The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor will soon refer for retirement 12 supervisors, reports Al-Anba daily quoting Undersecretary Dr Matar Al-Mutairi.
Al-Mutairi disclosed there are two vacant supervisory positions in the medical center at the Social Care Sector, indicating the center needs these two employees who should be specialized in the medical field.
He also affirmed completion of the assessment of the annual competence reports for all employees, in addition to the finalization of the guidebook which contains the ministry’s bylaws.
He added copies of the guidebook will be distributed to all departments and sections in the ministry.
Iran envoy lauds Kuwait:
Iranian Ambassador to Kuwait Dr Ali Reda Enayati said Kuwait played a crucial role in reaching an agreement on many issues with Iran, reports Al-Qabas daily.
In a press statement, Enayati stressed the need for countries in the region to communicate with each other and develop good relations in order to guarantee prosperity and peace for their citizens.
He hopes the region reaches an agreement on ensuring a bright future for the people through cooperation and dialogue which his country has been calling for. He added that since the election of Iranian President Hasan Rouhani, Iran has been expressing its willingness to extend bridges of cooperation and compromise since we cannot clap with only one hand.
