6 deported over alleged flesh trade

Overstayin­g Indian carrying roommate’s ID busted

A policeman on duty in a public park, sustained injuries and bruises when an unidentifi­ed person riding an all terrain vehicle (ATV) lost control of the vehicle and ran over the policeman, reports Al-Rai daily. The policeman was taken to the Adan Hospital. The driver of the ATV is detained

at the Mina Abdullah Police Station.

KUWAIT CITY, April 3: The Criminal Investigat­ion Department has allegedly deported six European women who entered the country two weeks ago on tourist visas, reports Al-Anba daily.

The women were deported upon orders from DirectorGe­neral Major General Abdulhamid Al-Awadhi because the women were allegedly involved in flesh trade.

Initial investigat­ions show the women are members of an Internet network who receive orders to travel from country to country. The daily added, after the women arrived in Kuwait they were staying at a hotel.

According to sources the women were charging $1,000 for one hour of ‘fun’ and the payment was made to the network via credit cards.

The women were picked from various hotels.

Indian held:

Police have arrested an Indian for staying in the country illegally, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, the Indian at a police checkpoint in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh showed the ID of his roommate because his residence permit had expired three months ago.

The roommate claimed the suspect stole his ID without his knowledge.
