Ooredoo concludes employees’ football tournament

Abdulla Al-Thani. Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of the internatio­nal Ooredoo Group, announced the end of its second annual employees’ football tournament last Thursday — The Ooredoo Cup.

The winner of the final game was Customer Care FC 1, scoring three goals against one goal by B2B 2 team. Aside from awarding the two winning teams, Ooredoo awarded the best player, best goal keeper, fair play award, and top scorer.

We’re very keen on investing in our employees and have year-long activities for employee engagement.”

The tournament stems from Oore- doo’s main values: to care, connect and challenge. Winning first place was Customer Care FC 1, while B2B 2 came in second. Essa AlSarraf won best player, Mohammad Al-Shammari won best goalkeeper, Talal Mubarak won top scorer, while Mohammad Dashti won the fair play award.
