Four women held as police bust Dutch prostitution ring
Filipina promised job, raped by two Arab expats
KUWAIT CITY, May 23: The anti-vice directorate dismantled a Dutch prostitution racket operating in tourism zones in Kuwait, according to gdnonline report.
Officers arrested four Dutch prostitutes red-handed and referred them to competent authorities to be deported from the country.
They confessed to offering sex services to customers at hotels and furnished flats at the rate of KD 250 to KD 300 an hour, and using social media websites to lure people.
Filipina raped:
Police are looking for two Syrians for allegedly ‘raping’ a 25-year-old Filipino woman, reports Al-Anba daily. In her complaint to the Nugra Police Station she said one of the Syrians cheated her by saying he runs a business and offered a job with KD 250 salary a month.
The complainant added she agreed to meet the Syrian in front of a commercial complex who came with a compatriot.
The men then drove her to an apartment under the pretext it was their office and forced her to have sex with them. The men then brought her back and left her in front of the complex.
The complainant has been referred to Forensics.
Flesh traders nabbed:
Acting on information and armed with a search and arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, the Farwaniya police raided an apartment in the area and arrested three Ethiopian women and three Bangladeshi pimps for indulging in flesh trade, reports Al-Rai daily.
All those arrested have been referred to the authorities to prepare their deportation from the country.
Guns out in quarrel:
A 48-year-old Kuwaiti citizen, a Norwegian expatriate and a 1995-born Kuwaiti citizen sustained injuries in a quarrel that broke out among some neighbors in Saad Al-Abdullah area. Guns were allegedly used during the quarrel, says Al-Seyassah.
When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the quarrel, securitymen rushed to the location to discover the quarrelers were taken to Jahra Hospital. They rushed to the hospital to discover the quarrel was resumed there.
After the quarrel was settled, securitymen carried out investigations to discover the quarrel first broke out among some children and eventually the adults got involved. They initially exchanged blows but later used guns. However, when the suspects were questioned, they denied using guns.
A case was filed against the suspects and they were referred to the concerned authorities after they received treatment for their injuries.
Man held with liquor:
A Kuwaiti citizen in his 30s was arrested in possession of a bottle of imported liquor, a cigarette rolled with hashish and narcotic pills in Mangaf area, says Al-Seyassah.
According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Mangaf
area when they noticed a vehicle parked in a lot and a man sleeping inside it. They woke him up and checked his civil ID to discover he is a Kuwaiti citizen who is wanted by law for drug-related cases. Detecting the smell of alcohol from him, securitymen checked the vehicle and found a bottle of imported liquor, a cigarette rolled with hashish, narcotic pills and drug paraphernalia.
He was arrested and referred with the illicit items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
Meanwhile, a GCC expatriate was arrested in Fahaheel area in possession of two ‘Kabti’ pills which he had hidden inside a cigarette pack.
He was referred with the pills to the concerned authorities for further investigations.
Indian magician caught:
The Farwaniya police have arrested an Indian for practicing black magic and have handed him over to the concerned authority to prepare for his deportation
from the country because there is no law to punish such activity, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to a security source, the Indian was arrested while driving along a road at an unidentified location.
The daily added, the Indian tried in vain to escape leaving behind the witchcraft tools and charms in his car.
Meanwhile, police have arrested an Indian man who had been sentenced in absentia in fraud case worth KD 73,000, reports Al-Anba daily.
