Rookies asked to do their best in Kuwait’s interest
Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Lieutenant General Sulaiman Fahd Al-Fahd visited the Public Security Department on Monday.
During the visit, Assistant Undersecretary for Operation Affairs Major general Jamal Al-Sayegh, acting Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah, command directors and assistant command directors warmly received Al-Fahd.
At the beginning of the visit, AlFahd conveyed a message from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister
Lt-Gen Sulaiman Al -Fahd during his visit to the Public Security Department. of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to the staff. He also congratulated the recently-appointed officials and wished them the best in their endeavors, while urging them to do their best in the interest of Kuwait.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense has restructured its armament panel which now consists of officers with expertise in the field, reports Al-Shahid daily quoting sources.
Sources clarified this step is in line with the strategy of the ministry to develop sectors and military units according to the new defense mechanism. Sources added the ministry will also form a new panel for military cooperation.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that the ministry announced earlier the promotion of officers with the ranks of captain, major and lieutenant colonel. Sources affirmed this is part of the continuing efforts of the ministry to improve its work procedures.
And, all military units in the National Guard have started preparing their list of officers and employees eligible for the summer grant, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources.
Sources disclosed the grant is equal to full salary given the deserving staff in line with the directive of the National Guard High Commission in recognition of the efforts they exerted in serving the nation. Sources explained the beneficiaries of the summer grant should not have been subjected to penal sanctions.
