Kuwait Airways supports relief campaign for Syrians
Kuwait Airways has announced that it will be supporting the continued provision of relief to Syrians in Jordan in cooperation with the International Islamic Charity Organization as part of the airline’s commitment to humanitarian assistance and in line with its social responsibility.
This is the third occasion in which Kuwait Airways will be offering the services of its aircraft to provide targeted relief as and where it is required. Shipments will include over twenty tons of food supplies, clothes and blankets to help Syrian refugees in Jordan. This special flight will be operated by an Airbus A340 aircraft and is scheduled to depart on May 24.
Philip Saunders, Chief Commercial Officer at Kuwait Airways, stated: ‘Kuwait Airways is particularly proud of our close partnership with the International Islamic Charity Organization. Our operational staff and all employees are committed to support the IICO’s mission in providing direct assistance for Syrian refugees in Jordan wherever we can.’
