The Operations Room of Fire Department was notified at 2:00 am Monday that a vehicle had caught fire at the parking lot of Qairawan police station. A team of firemen from Section (A) of Sulaibikhat Brigade led by Major Abdulaziz Boland was deployed to the scene and they managed to extinguish the blaze without human casualties.
Meanwhile, fire broke out in a house in Ghernata without causing injuries or loss of lives. In a press statement, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) said its Operations Unit dispatched firefighters from Sulaibikhat Fire Station to the location after receiving information about the fire incident. The fire-out operation, under the command of Major Abdulaziz Boland, was completed within a short span of time. No casualties or injuries were reported and investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of fire.
