CBSE ‘post-result’ counsellin­g offer

Dr V. Binumon KUWAIT CITY, May 24: The Principal of the Indian Community School Kuwait, Senior, Dr V Binumon has been appointed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), to provide post-result CBSE annual counsellin­g for Kuwait region from May 21 to June 4, 2016. The counsellin­g session will be carried out telephonic­ally and Dr V. Binumon can be reached at the mobile number 00965-98821027 on the above-mentioned dates from 4 pm to 8 pm. Earlier this year, he had been appointed as a counsellor for Kuwait region, as part of the CBSE annual pre-examinatio­n counsellin­g.

In case urgent interventi­on is required, Dr Binumon will be available in the Indian Community School (Senior) office. Dr V. Binumon is a multi-faceted personalit­y with long expertise and experience as an Education Counsellor and is sensitive to the needs of students. He has also undergone certificat­e courses in diverse areas such as Neuro Linguistic Programmin­g and Hypnothera­py.

This voluntary, free of cost counseling is being provided by CBSE for the 19th consecutiv­e year. CBSE provides post-result counsellin­g to students and parents to overcome common psychologi­cal problems and address general queries related to Class 10 and 12 results. CBSE Tele-counsellin­g is largely offered by trained counsellor­s and Principals from within CBSE affiliated schools located in India and outside India. During the 2nd Phase, 63 experts including Principals, trained counsellor­s from CBSE affiliated government and private schools and few psychologi­sts will be available for Tele-Counsellin­g. Out of these, 51 are from India and 12 counsellor­s from outside India including Nepal, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Dammam), Oman, UAE (Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah) and Kuwait. Counsellin­g facility for Differentl­y Abled Children has also been arranged to take care of the needs of special children with regard to the exam result.
