Friends Cricket Club clinch trophy in ‘nail biting’ final

PSAK holds Youm-E-Takbeer T20 Cup

KUWAIT CITY, May 24: Pakistan Sports Association Kuwait organizes Youm-E-Takbeer T20 Cricket Cup, 2016 last week at PSA Minhaj Cricket ground Khaitan. Final match was played between Friends Cricket Club & Kuwait Energy Cricket team. Kuwait Energy team captain won the toss and elected to bat first and they scored 187 runs in allotted 20 overs, which were achieved comprehensively by Friends Cricket Club players in 19 overs. Omar was declared man of the match due to his outstanding innings of 76 runs which led his team in victory by 7 wickets.

At the end, final match prize ceremony was held. Pakistan Qirrat & Naat Council Kuwait (PQNCK) Patron-in-Chief, Shamshad Khan Tanoli & Jahanzeb Usman President ANP, Kuwait, Babar, PSA Founder/Director General Muhammad Irfan Adil, Advisor M. Irfan Shafiq, Executive Member, Farzan Tariq and Saad were as among the Guest. Many Dignitaries & Cricket Lover watched the Thrilling Game. Kuwait Energy Took the Runner up Trophy While Friend Cricket Club Kuwait Clinched the Winner Trophy, received by Captain Muddassar Iqbal.

At this stage, Maqbool Ahmed, President PSA said that Pakistan Sports Association Kuwait (PSA) engaging the Youth & community in positive and healthy sports activities. It is an avenue for camaraderie and to develop a sense of belonging among individuals in the shared pursuit of sport & to provide an outlet for advanced participation
