Lowry steals the show
TORONTO, May 24, (AP): The Cleveland-Toronto series that once looked lopsided is now even after the Raptors beat the Cavaliers 105-99 on Monday to square the NBA Eastern Conference finals at two games apiece.
Kyle Lowry scored 35 points, including a driving layup in the final minute to clinch the win, and DeMar DeRozan had 32 for the Raptors, who were rank outsiders against Cleveland and lost the first two games of the series heavily.
DeMarre Carroll scored 11 points and Bismack Biyombo had 14 rebounds as Toronto improved to 8-2 at home this postseason.
“We’ve been counted out, and we like that challenge,” DeRozan said.
The next challenge for Toronto is Game 5 on Wednesday in Cleveland,
