Police officer arrested in abduction bid

Tutor caught molesting female students

KUWAIT CITY, May 25: A police lieutenant, whose identity has not been disclosed, is arrested by the police for harassing and attempting to kidnap an unidentifi­ed woman, reports Al-Anba daily.

The daily added, the arrest came after someone called the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior.

The Pakistani is a mathematic­s teacher working for a private school and has been residing in Kuwait for the past 35 years.

The arrest came after someone posted a video clip of the man molesting one of his pupils.

During interrogat­ion the man has admitted to the charge. The teacher is being interrogat­ed and faces deportatio­n if found guilty.

The suspects were referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authoritie­s for necessary legal action.
