Projects estimated to cost KD 3.9m
KUWAIT CITY, July 20: Hill International will manage the construction of two new hospitals in Kuwait at an estimated cost of KD 3.9 million within three years.
According to a report published on Yahoo Finance, the global leader in managing construction risk confirmed Monday that it has received a letter of award from Health Assurance Hospitals Company (Dhaman) to provide project and construction management services in connection with the construction of two new hospitals in Kuwait.
Hill International will be in charge of the construction of two 300-bed secondary care hospitals in Ahmadi and Jahra, including staff accommodations and parking facilities.
Health Assurance Hospitals Company (Dhaman) was established as a public-private partnership as part of the State of Kuwait’s National Healthcare Expansion Plan. In response to a projected population growth of two million people by 2026, Dhaman plans to build secondary care hospitals and primary health clinics in various locations across Kuwait.
“We look forward to helping Dhaman deliver these important hospital projects,” said Mohammed Al-Rais, Regional President (Middle East) for Hill’s Project Management Group. “We understand the importance of timely delivery for these types of healthcare facilities and we are confident that our team will meet or exceed all expectations,” added Al Rais.
Hill International has 4,600 professionals in 100 offices worldwide. It provides program management, project management, construction management, construction claims and other consulting services primarily to the buildings, transportation, environmental, energy and industrial markets. Engineering News-Record magazine recently ranked Hill as the eighth largest construction management firm in the United States.
