Six Asian expats hurt
Six Asian expatriates sustained burns and injuries when a huge fire broke out in a prefabricated flat on the roof of a house in Thaher area.
According to sources, when the Control Room of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) received information about the fire, firefighters rushed to the location with securitymen and paramedics. They discovered that the fire broke out in a prefabricated accommodation rented to some Asian laborers on the roof of a house. The victims were rescued and the fire was extinguished within a short time.
The six Asians were referred to Adan Hospital for treatment. Investigations have been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
Meanwhile, fire broke out in a house in Firdous area. No injuries were reported.
According to sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the fire, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh firefighters rushed to the location with securitymen and paramedics.
The tenants in the building were evacuated and the fire was extinguished before it spread throughout the house.
Investigations have been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
Meanwhile, fire erupted in an Americanmade vehicle which it was being driven down the Fourth Ring Road. Firefighters extinguished the fire within a short time. No injuries were reported.
