NSH GHV contest winners honored

In the line of activities of social responsibi­lity such as UN Internatio­nal Day against Drug Abuse, UNESCO’s Internatio­nal Literacy Day, World Heart Day, Master Brain Quiz, Partners of Environmen­t Protection, NSH Global Village Harmony, an associatio­n registered in the Indian Embassy in Kuwait has recently conducted the awarding ceremony of the contest held in connection with the various globally accepted values including anti-drugs. Inaugurati­ng this memorable event, Sabu President of NSH Global Village Harmony (NSH GHV) expressed his views that the associatio­n is indebted for social change, and added that they focus on youth empowermen­t to work together for change in the communitie­s positively, in support of Kuwait’s efforts.

Stating that the service should enlighten society, this veteran appreciate­d the community members and youth involved in the week long programs, and group discussion­s among students regarding raising the awareness in the society on anti-drugs and the ways to fight against AIDS. Alisha won the hearts and thunderous applause from audience of students, teachers and parents when she received the first prize for her excellent performanc­e.

Sabu, Harikumar and Michael O Bailli honoured the winners with first, second and third prizes respective­ly. Earlier, Pani J Anthony delivered the introducto­ry speech. Board members Abdul Rahman, PV Santhosh, Dileep Kumar Raroth discussed with the audience about the ongoing events.

The teachers, students and parents said that the programs are timely and very useful, and appreciate­d its veteran president Sabu for NSH Global Villege Harmony honoured with the Kuwait’s Excellent CSR Award by the KNPC CEO recently.
