Ex-Thomsonian­s bid farewell to Khullars

Ex-Thomsonian­s from University of Roorkee, Roorkee India (now IIT Roorkee) Alumni, Kuwait Chapter organized a party to bid farewell to its member Surendra Kumar Khullar (1970 Batch). A farewell party was organized by Umesh Sharma, Rajpal Tyagi and Manish Raghuvansh­i at Mughal Mahal, Salem Mubarak Street, above Zara Home-Marina Plaza in Salmiya on Nov 26, 2016.

S.K. Khullar has been working in Engineerin­g Group of Bader Al Mulla, Kuwait since 1976. He retired from this organizati­on as Deputy General Manager. He will return to India and will settle down in Greater Noida.

A photo from the event also, an anniversar­y cake was cut by S.K. Khullar and Mrs Manju Khullar to celebrate the occasion. Bouquet was presented by Mrs Sadhana Kamthan and Mrs Gauri Tyagi whereas memento was presented to them by Ashok Kamthan and Rajpal Tyagi.

Manish Raghuvansh­i welcomed the ‘farewell’ couple and the attendees. Ashok Kamthan and Rajpal Tyagi wish them a happy, healthy and successful life ahead. Umesh Sharma, classmate of Khullar presented some old photograph­s which rekindled the emotions attached to the university and the student life spent there. Sharma cherished his friendship of 50 years with Khullars which is based on acceptance, space and mutual respect.

S.K. Khullar, an avid member in various walks of life, is known for his humble nature, knowledge and expertise on different topics. Members of The Kuwait Chapter of Thomason College of Engineerin­g wish S.K. Khullar and Mrs Manju Khullar a blessed, peaceful and comfortabl­e life ahead. Those who attended the party were: Mrs Manju and Surendra Khullar, Mrs Sadhana and Ashok Kamthan. Umesh Sharma, Mrs Sunita and P.D. Kapruwan, Mrs Gauri and Rajpal Tyagi, Mrs Sunita and O.P.
