Al Waleed Philanthro­pies Equestrian Team clinch titles

Al-Muhawes, Saleh star in Al Husain Int’l Equestrian Endurance Competitio­n

THE ALWALEED Philanthro­pies (AP): Equestrian Team, which is owned by HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Alwaleed Philanthro­pies, achieved high ranking titles on Monday, November 14, 2016 in the Al Husain Int’l Equestrian Endurance Race in Wadi Rum, in southern Jordan.

Alwaleed Philanthro­pies’ team member Abdulaziz Al-Muhawes achieved the 2nd place title in the 120-kilometer-long internatio­nal competing race. Furthermor­e, Alwaleed Philanthro­pies’ equestrian Mohammad Saleh succeeded in securing the 1st place in the 80-Kilometer-long internatio­nal competing race, while Moath Al Khalifa secured the 2nd place title in the 80-Kilometer-long local competitor’s race.

Over 50 competitor­s from various countries participat­ed, most notably Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Germany and the Netherland­s. The equestrian­s took off on November 14th at dawn. The competitio­n was sponsored by HRH Princess Alia Al Husain. It is worth noting that Alwaleed Philanthro­pies achieved the 1st place title in last year’s Al Hussein Internatio­nal Endurance Competitio­n for completing 120 km through its team member Abdulaziz Al Duwish.
