KUWAIT CITY, Dec 2: Weather Forecast Comptroller at Kuwait Meteorology Department Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi affirmed that the country is currently experiencing the effect of low atmospheric westerly wind associated with an extension of low atmospheric pressure.

He explained that this phenomenon will result in low to medium cloud cover with chances of scattered rainfall of varying quantities ranging from mild to medium during the weekend. Some cumulus clouds in certain areas are likely to be thunderous.

The sky could be partly cloudy with southeasterly wind transforming into mild northwesterly wind of moderate speed ranging from 15-40 km/h and with the likelihood of scattered rainfall and intermittent thunder. The maximum temperature anticipated will be around 25-27 degrees Centigrade.

However, the weather is likely to be partially cloudy at night and the speed of the northwesterly wind will change from mild to moderate to around 1040 km/h in the coastal areas. There is a chance for scattered rainfall with anticipated minimum temperature of around 14-16 degrees Centigrade. The sea during day and night will have moderate waves reaching 2 to 6 feet in certain cases.

On Saturday, the weather could be partly cloudy during the day with mild northwesterly wind of speed around 15-38 km/h and with chances of scattered rainfall. The maximum temperature anticipated will be 21-23 degrees Centigrade.

At night, the partial cloudy weather is expected to continue with mild northwesterly winds of moderate speed of 15-40 km/h and minimum temperature of around 11-13 degrees. Condition of the sea during the day will be mild to moderate with waves reaching around 2-5 feet. At night, the waves will be moderate to high reaching around 3-6 feet.
