Philippine envoy inducts new IECEP-Kuwait officers
Bid to embody common goals, aspirations of each engineer
KUWAIT CITY, March 11: Philippine Ambassador to Kuwait Renato Pedro Villa inducted the officers of the newly founded Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP-Kuwait) Kuwait Chapter composed of Filipino Electronics Engineers from various companies in the country aimed at embodying the common goals and aspirations of each electronics engineer in Kuwait.

Villa congratulated the newly inducted officers as he expressed the embassy’s full support to the group’s programmes and activities in the future.
On his part, Viray thanked Villa for his support as he espoused on the utmost cooperation of his fellow officers and members to ensure the success of the group.
“We would like to call on all Filipino Electronics Engineers to come and join us in order to be updated with the trends, technologies, curriculum, and academic activities in our profession. There will be regular seminars, trainings, review classes for those who are planning to take the licensing board exam. In addition, there are other extra curricular. sports, and civic activities for sure you’ll enjoy. Meet new friends and expand your network and business associates. We promote camaraderie,” stated Viray.
The group that was formed on Jan 28, 2017 and registered at the Philippine Embassy on March 10, 2017 aims at assisting all its members in the renewal of PRC license as well as those who have not taken their licensure exam and are planning to take the Professional Licensure Board Exam (SPLBE) by conducting ECE review classes. There will also be free and paid seminars as part of CPE/D (Continuing Program Education/ Development).
“In addition, we will also help you to be certified in other fields of your career advancement. You’ll meet lot of friends and boost your network. We’ll make sure that you’ll be the first to obtain job referrals in the region just in case you need one. We also promote sports and camaraderie among the members. Though it is a professional organization, we serve as partner of Philippines Embassy to reach out and extend our hands to distressed OFWs and IECEP members who are in need,” outlined Andrada.
