Royale Hayat visits AUS to educate on healthy lifestyle

KUWAIT CITY, April 4: Under the umbrella of Community Awareness Program at Royale Hayat Hospital, Dr Ahmed Al Mulla, Head of Surgery Department and Consultant General, Laparoscop­ic, Bariatric and Oncology Surgery and a team of experts visited the American United School on 28th March 2017 to raise awareness on health related issues among students and teachers.

and free of sugar to maintain a healthy body. Students and teachers at AUS were interactiv­e and had the chance to ask questions and get expert answers regarding various health issues and preventati­ve medicine including personal and hands hygiene to fight infectious diseases.

During the visit, Dr Ahmed Al Mulla highlighte­d the importance of Royale Hayat Community Awareness Program and the role it plays in educating and encouragin­g the community to adapt a healthy lifestyle.

In addition to awareness programs, the Department of General Surgery and Obesity Surgery, Endoscopy and Oncology at RHH provides advanced services to treat any related disease, such as stomach stenosis, gastric bypass, gastric balloon, stomach ring, stomach capsule, restoratio­n of obesity and cosmetic reconstruc­tive surgery after obesity, in addition to many diseases related to the gastrointe­stinal system, such as gallstones, abdominal hernia, diaphragm, esophageal reflux, diaphragm, tumors, gastroente­ritis, intestine and colon, tummy tucks, anal surgery, breast surgery and surgery, and thyroid and endocrine surgery.
