Tickets for Emirati singer Ahlam’s concert on verge of being sold out
Al-Shatti, Al-Aneen to participate in concert
KUWAIT CITY, April 5: The tickets for the concert of the Emirati singer Ahlam, who is known as the “artiste of Arabs”, are on the verge of being sold out, reports Al-Anba daily.
The concert will be held on Friday at the Kuwait Opera House.
Ahlam, also known as Umm Fahad, has been busy with the preparations along with her husband Mubarak Al-Hajri and the organizer Ahmad Naqrouh.
Speaking to the daily, Umm Fahad revealed that she will sing 20 songs from her old and new albums as well as a new song dedicated to her Kuwaiti and Gulf fans.
Meanwhile, her husband Mubarak Al-Hajri indicated that a number of TV channels will broadcast the concert including Kuwait TV, Rotana, and Wanash, as well as radio stations including MBC FM and 88.8 FM.
Composer Abdullah Al-Qaoud says Kuwaiti is living in an era of artistic prosperity especially in the field of music, reports Al-Rai daily.
He indicated that concerts used to be held in parks and other public utilities in many governorates of the country in the past and now there is an increasing demand for holding concerts in the Kuwait Opera House.
Concert organizer Raed Al-Abkal disclosed the revival of youth concert will take place on April 28 with singers Bashar Al-Shatti and Al-Aneen at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center (Kuwait Opera House), reports Al-Rai daily.
Turkish band led by musicians Haytish Tojan and Ismael Tonjoulik will be participating in the event and tickets will be sold cheap.
