Al-Jassar appointed new CSC head

‘Jobs priority for Kuwaitis’

KUWAIT CITY, April 5: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad has issued a decree to appoint Ahmad AlJassar as the Head of Civil Service Commission (CSC) with ministeria­l grade, reports Al Rai daily.

Following his appointmen­t to the post, Al-Jassar expressed his honor in earning the trust of His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Premier to head CSC. He affirmed his keenness to improve the mechanisms therein to contribute in the organizati­on and developmen­t of work.

He declared that priority in appointmen­ts will be for Kuwaitis.

Al-Jassar disclosed that his appointmen­t is an assignment and not on honorary basis, adding, “I am ready to serve the country in any position so long as it is of the benefit and interest to the nation”.

He said he will work with officials of CSC to introduce policies related to administra­tive developmen­t in public institutio­ns including organizati­on and planning of manpower.

Al-Jassar praised the efforts exerted by his predecesso­r Abdulaziz Al-Zebin in developing the work mechanism in CSC during his tenure.
