KUWAIT CITY, April 13: State Minister for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Information Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah has announced that the error in appointment of foreign advisors in Ministry of Information has been corrected, indicating that the ministry has used national expertise and terminated those without experience, reports Al-Nahar daily.
He clarified that there were two jurists from an Arab country one was receiving salary of KD 1,000 per month and the other KD 2,000. However, the ministries require people with local experience.
Meanwhile, legal sources from Ministry of Health expressed their surprise over the ministry’s decision to reform an ad-hoc committee for evaluating the pharmacists, technicians and assistant pharmacists who have been working in the government and private sectors without including any member from the Health Licenses Department, reports Al-Rai daily.
They said they are surprised that the evaluation committee is headed by the Assistant Undersecretary for Dental Affairs at the ministry as he is the acting Assistant Undersecretary for Medicines and Medical Equipment.
