Crown Prince attends ‘camel fest’ ceremony
Saudi King hosts Kuwaiti delegation
RIYADH, April 13, (KUNA): Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, attended on Thursday final ceremony marking the 2017 King Abdulaziz Camel Festival.
The festival, held in the Saudi capital Riyadh, aimed at boosting the nation’s cultural heritage.
His Highness Sheikh Nawaf, accompanied by a delegation of ranking officials, was received earlier upon his arrival in the Kingdom by Governor of the Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Kuwaiti Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, in addition to embassy’s staff.
He, along with the senior entourage, later attended a luncheon held by the Saudi King, on the festival occasion.
His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad’s visit to Saudi Arabia came on an invitation by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah.
The Amir’s envoy, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf, was seen off at Kuwait international airport by Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq Al-Ghanim, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Minister of the Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of the Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah.
Also present at the airport for seeing off His Highness were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Information Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Advisor at the Crown Prince Diwan Nasser Al-Roudan, and Saudi Ambassador to the State of Kuwait Dr Abdulaziz Al-Fayez.
