In this class, we will focus on Surat AlHaaqqah (The Inevitable Reality) from verse 11 till 15.

We will discuss Noah’s construction of the Ark, how his polytheist community made fun of him while obliging to the Command of Allah (SWT) and why Allah finally punished them with the raging Deluge.

We will also shed light on some major events that will occur prior to the Judgement Day.

Finally, we will discuss the importance of our reaction to the message of the Qur’an while reciting it, and we will point out why righteous people give charity, for example, with trembling hearts. Artist’s statement: Fresh, as in renewed, innovative and free. Freshness as the liberation from stagnant and redundant policies and tendencies. Fresh as positive, peaceful and meaningful evolution. In this ever certain world of absolute truths and populist totalitarianism. I offer no answer, merely the honesty of my journey, my reflections and dilemmas, I’d rather continue to ask, than attempt an overly simplistic answer.
