Le Pen, riding terror wave, hoping for win
“ONCE again terrorism strikes at the heart of Europe at a suspicious time and with the same instrument as of the Islamic State or the so-called DAESH, or may be the latter’s godfather, the Islamic Al-Nusra Front which was born on the day the former Lebanese late prime minister Rafik Hariri was assassinated on Feb 14, 2005,” columnist
wrote for Aljarida daily. “Paris was attacked in the Champs-Elysées, the capital of light, just 48 hours before the French presidential elections, in the midst of the international stalemate against the Syrian regime and the American escalation of Tehran’s role in supporting terrorist activities in the Middle East and the world.
“In this context, no one can explain that a political organization, called DAESH, is losing its positions one after the other in Mosul, Iraq and Syria, but is carrying out simple and trivial acts of terrorism in order to provoke hostility towards it and intensify strikes on it.
“This organization is a penetrator and a tool in the hands of the intelligence cells of countries which look to serve their own interests, especially since most of the leaders of that organization were released from Syrian and Iraqi prisons for unknown reasons.
“The French capital, Paris was exposed to a terrorist attack at one of its famous touristic spots — the attack that was carried out by a stupid terrorist who was brainwashed by the Salafist ideology which over the past few years gained momentum in the mosques across Europe, given the fact racism practiced against the migrants in France was the cause of implementation of the terrorist operation in question.
“In this connection, we say although the terrorist was born in France, we in this respect expect the international media to concentrate on what they call ‘the Sunni terrorism’ the term that can be attributed to a mix between religion and politics in a bid to divert the attention of the world away from the crimes committed by Bashar Al-Assad and his allies in Moscow, Tehran, Baghdad and the Southern Suburb of Beirut against humanity while it looks the latter currently rules entire Lebanon.
“In other words, carrying out of the terrorist operation of this kind in the French capital and other European cities, is likely to result in the entire world supporting the ‘butcher’ Bashar Al-Assad to remain in power under the pretext this man is qualified to encounter the ‘Sunni terrorism’, given the fact the regime of Damascus and its allies are currently striving to get the support of the international

public opinion to adopt such an equation.
“Apart from the above, we have observed that the recent terrorist operation in Paris was seemingly aimed at supporting the extremist rightist candidate Marine Le Pen, particularly since we know it looks like the latter is neither concerned about the practices of Bashar Al-Assad against his people nor about that of Tehran.
“In this context, we say Marine Le Pen is known to attack the Schengen agreement, ignoring the fact that all those who were involved in carrying the terrorist operations in her country are French citizens by birth and as such cannot be expelled from Europe because none of them had come from abroad.
“However, it seems Le Pen has declared her attitudes in this connection just to tickle the emotions of the electorate and revive the spirit of enmity and hatred among the French voters and ultimately persuade them to vote for the rightist extremist currents as it happened recently in the US presidential elections.”

“The proposal that has been propounded recently by the leader of Humanity HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad to the entire world is indeed a significant initiative,” columnist wrote for Al-Sabah daily.
“This sublime proposal emphasizes the importance of following a method of dialogue and mutual understanding among various religions and cultures, particularly since we know that this proposal was submitted by HH the Amir during his meeting with the Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St Mark Tawadros II and his accompanying delegation on the occasion of his visit to the State of Kuwait.
“Certainly, the purport of this proposal shows two significant aspects, the first an attempt to promote the dialogue by all rational means, while the second confirms that the State of Kuwait was and is the country of moderation, love, peace and coexistence.
“In the meantime, HH the Amir has stressed on the need to boost the principles of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among various peoples of the world in a bid to promote the culture of love and fraternity on our planet and this reflects the deep understanding by HH the Amir of the global affairs in view of his long experience in the diplomatic and political fields.
“This humanitarian attempt launched by HH the Amir is actually a clear cut message that will not be subjected to any further medication by those suffering from ‘psychological’ problems who believe that the State of Kuwait represents an appropriate place for promoting the ex-communication and aggressive ideology against Kuwaitis or expatriates who are living on the kind and clean soil.
“As a matter of fact, the State of Kuwait was and shall remain — God willing — the country of security and safety under the leadership of HH the Amir.
“This country shall remain a tree whose shadow shall understand the needs of all people, citizens and expatriates, because it is the State of Kuwait which has opened its heart before its arms for all humans irrespective of their gender, color and religion away from any narrow vision.”
“During the 1960s and through to the 1980s, Kuwait used to employ the best qualified teachers. It brought the best available teachers in different specialties. The government schools were the “qibla” for students from neighboring countries. From these schools, a lot of our Kuwaiti and expatriate brothers graduated and went on to occupy prominent positions,”
wrote for Al-Rai daily. “It seems the Iraq invasion left all aspects of life in tatters. Kuwait was the beacon in every sector — social, security, educational, behavioral, creativity and sports among others. It has now become the tail of all countries in all aspects unfortunately. The educational system has been nose-diving since then. Our pioneering educational role has turned upside down.
“After the liberation, teaching in most schools in Kuwait became cheap projects with the sole aim of just giving academic certificates to students. There is no consideration for honesty anymore; even the selection and employment of teachers is done haphazardly. Teachers no longer are given their deserved rights, so that they fail in producing educated generations that are capable of giving the country and her people what they deserve.”
“State institutions belong to all citizens; therefore, it is impossible to endorse it in favor of the interest of a particular segment among high ranking, wealthy and influential people, as it will be unnecessarily prejudiced,” wrote for Aljarida daily.
“Meanwhile, the law should be general and absolute without being used for vengeance against certain personalities or for dealing with any particular and temporary situations. Anything short of this means the law is tyrannical and unfair, and leads to shaky confidence among the populace in the state institutions and its laws. If the situation continues the same way, the minds of people will lack tranquility, and will create doubts and suspicions over the ability of government to carry out the necessary social responsibilities in protecting everybody and their future.
“Therefore, since the government knows the rate of distrust that people have in state institutions and laws, it is enough a reason for some of them to move towards sub-identities (tribe, sect and family). This is the prevalent situation which must be dealt with before setting up a modern nation to protect the rights of people. Failure to act properly will be disastrous. If the government fails to realize that fact, it will be a more devastating disaster.”
“Several reports have been circulating on social media in the last few days concerning the statement issued by Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Al-Sabeeh regarding the medical services to be offered to citizens in Jaber Hospital for which they have to pay about 20 to 50 percent of the costs,”
wrote for Al-Nahar daily. “This information widely spread by citizens on social media has provoked astonishment among the viewers over the government’s sudden change. I was also surprised that the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and not Minister of Health or Minister of Finance had issued such statements.
“The issuance of this statement was followed by a statement of denial based on article No. 11 of the Kuwaiti Constitution which stipulates that the state will provide health care facilities. It affirmed that no decision has been issued to impose fees for treatment, but that it is part of a package of proposals over which decisions have not yet been taken.”
“If some of the preachers, scholars and clergymen did not play a role in terrorism, they would have denounced the ideology of DAESH; but to this date, we have not heard them denounce it,” wrote for Al-Shahed daily.
“There is none among them who call for combating DAESH and defending Islam, after the image of Islam has been stained and tampered with. Terror operations start and end with claims such as “We are doing this for the sake of Islam.”
“Al-Qaradawi declared that bomb attacks against Christians will continue until the Egyptian President Abdul Fattah el-Sisi leaves. This affirms that the “takfir” and killing fatwas are political, not religious driven. There is a special connection between these clergymen and the terrorist organization. This calls for an uprising against religious speeches because, if the political Islam and fatwas are not reformed or eliminated, the series of terror attacks will continue. These scholars keep brainwashing the youths for achieving their political goals and interests in order to ensure the Muslim Brotherhood Group rules Egypt and other countries. Their covetousness is still high and they still have hope in this regard.”
