Horse Al-Sharq comes 1st in 2,400 meters race

KUWAIT CITY, April 25: The horse Al-Sharq ridden by Khalid Al-Rowaished won the His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Cup after coming first in the 2,400-meter race of fifth setting for mixed horses in the 25th Hunting and Equestrian Club Horseracin­g Meet.

The horse Ezz Hamoud from Dasman Stable came second, the horse Ibtisam from Abrouq Stable came third, the horse Sebah from Al-Shoura Stable came fourth and the horse Ain Sara from Abrouq Stable came fifth.

The representa­tive of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak handed the cup to the owners of Al-Meraikhi Stable.

The owner of Al-Nashama Stable Sheikh Ali Al-Hamoud handed a plaque to the Farwaniya Governor.

Meanwhile, the horse Bahees owned by Abna’a Al-Zamanan and ridden by Faisal Al-Faramawi came first in the 1,400-meter race of third setting for mixed horses by finishing the race in 01:37:05 minutes, winning a car sponsored by Al-Tamadion Real Estate Company.

The horse Legretto owned by Abdulaziz Al-Shimmari came second, the horse Nojoud owned by Mesha’al Al-Otaibi came third and the horse Zouwain from Al-Nashama Stable came fourth.

The horse Ezz Nayef from Al-Dabous Stable won first place in the 1,200-meter race of fourth setting for mixed horses after finishing the race in 01:11:05 minutes.

The horse Sehwej from Abu Shuaiba came second, the horse Amber from Al-Nashama Stable came third, the horse Shaibat Al-Reeh from Al-Sorour Stable came fourth and the horse Ezzallah from Al-Mulla Stable came fifth.

In the 1,000-meter race of first setting for mixed horses, the horse Ghala Muza from Al-Nashama Stable came first by finishing the race in 58.7 seconds followed by the horse Rawaeb from Dasman Stable in second place, the horse Loloat Dasman from Dasman stable in third place, the horse Khalda from Al-Khaleej Stable in fourth place and the horse Farhati for Abrouq Stable in fifth place.

In the 1,600-meter race of second setting for mixed horses, the horse Tareq from Abu Shuaiba Stable ridden by Khaled Al-Rowaished took first place, followed by the horse Abu Saif owned by Mohammad Al-Enzi in second place, the horse Redhad Al-Brah from Al-Sarhan Stable in third place, the horse Zamani for Al-Jaheel Stable in fourth place and the horse Bezwed from Al-Otaibi Stable in fifth place.
