Citizen stabbed in the back in Fahaheel fight

KUWAIT CITY, May 23: A Kuwaiti got several stab wounds in the back and bruises in different parts of his body after engaging in a fight with an undisclose­d person in Fahaheel. Securityme­n and medical emergency workers rushed to the location after the Operations Unit in the Interior Ministry received informatio­n about the fight. They found the Kuwaiti bleeding while lying on the pavement so he was rushed to Adan Hospital.

The person who had a fight with the victim was referred to the police station in the area for questionin­g and other legal action.

In an unrelated incident, a Kuwaiti and his brother filed a complaint at Qurain Police Station against an unknown person who allegedly beat their 20-year-old brother and then ran away. They provided police with a descriptio­n of the suspect and investigat­ions are ongoing to arrest the latter.

13 drug pills seized:

Four Asian expatriate­s were arrested in Jabriya area in possession of 13 narcotic pills and a bottle of locally manufactur­ed liquor.

According to security sources, Hawally securityme­n were patrolling Jabriya area when they noticed a vehicle being driven unsteadily. When they requested the driver to pull over, he ignored the orders and sped away. Securityme­n chased him and eventually managed to force him to stop.

They checked the details of the driver and the three passengers to discover they are all Asian expatriate­s.

Securityme­n checked the vehicle to find 13 narcotic pills and a bottle of locally manufactur­ed liquor.

The four suspects were arrested and referred with the confiscate­d items to the concerned authoritie­s for necessary legal action.

Arrest warrant for vandals:

Al-Ahmadi Public Prosecutor has issued search and arrest warrants for vandals riding an American car who are accused of not only vandalism but immoral acts and assault, reports Al-Anba daily.

The search and arrest order was issued after a Kuwaiti and his sister filed a complaint with the Nuwaiseeb Police Station accusing unidentifi­ed youths riding in an American car of beating him when he was in the company of his sister resulting in bruises and abrasions on various parts of his body.

Without going into further details, the daily said the complainan­ts have submitted two medical reports to substantia­te their claims.

Parked vehicle stolen:

An unknown person stole a Kuwaiti’s vehicle which was parked near the mosque in Saad Al-Abdullah City.

Securityme­n rushed to the location after the Operations Unit in the Interior Ministry received informatio­n about the incident. The owner of the vehicle told police that he always parks his car near the mosque because it is close to his house.

A case was registered and investigat­ions are ongoing to arrest the thief.

Meanwhile, a Syrian filed a complaint at Maidan Hawally Police Station saying an unidentifi­ed person broke the window of his vehicle and then stole official documents and the iPad of his son.
