Grade 12 students results expected today
Results to be made public at press conference

KUWAIT CITY, May 28: Grade 12 students of secondary school who graduated after completing the final year examination in Arts, the sciences, and religious studies for 2016/2017 are expecting their results to be announced on Monday around 12 noon.
Results of the examination will be made public at a press conference attended by the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohammad Abdul-Latef Al-Fares in the Ministry of Education Auditorium. The names of best three students in each of the sections will be announced during the event.
Meanwhile, grade 5 elementary students and intermediate students will commence re-sit exams expected to last for five days, while their counterparts in secondary level will sit for the same exams from June 12-21. Teaching and administrative staff of the kindergarten will end this season’s activities and begin summer holiday on June 8.
Teaching staff at secondary level will also commence the summer holiday on June 22 except those who are involved in exam-related activities.
School principals, their assistants, administrative secretaries, store keepers, technical supervisors, educational activities supervisors, and laboratory supervisors in all educational zones will commence the summer holiday on July 8. Employees at kindergartens and the elementary and intermediate levels will resume for academic year 2017/2018 on September 5, while their counterparts in secondary level will follow on September 10.
Grade one elementary students will resume the same day, and the elementary and intermediate students will resume classes on Monday September 11, while kindergarten students will start Tuesday, and secondary school students will officially resume on Tuesday, September 17.
