ACK, British Council sign agreement on IELTS examinatio­ns

The Continuing Education Center (CEC) of the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) signed an agreement with the British Council in Kuwait to allow the latter to conduct Internatio­nal English Language Testing System

This move will play a huge role in facilitati­ng the mechanism of undertakin­g the examinatio­n and was aimed at enhancing joint cooperatio­n with the internatio­nal educationa­l establishm­ents. Such cooperatio­n represents continuati­on of the role played by the British Council for the interests of the people of Kuwait.

The agreement is also aimed at achieving mutual benefits and enhancing knowledge in English language through mutual cooperatio­n between the British Council, in its capacity as the United Kingdom’s internatio­nal organizati­on for educationa­l opportunit­ies and cultural relations, and ACK’s Continuing Education Center by providing educationa­l opportunit­ies for the youth.

Representi­ng ACK was the Acting Chief Operations Officer Eng. Sager Al-Sharhan while the British Council was represente­d by the Country Director of Kuwait Grant Butler. The Director General for Examinatio­ns in the Middle East and North Africa Mewari Miller was also present at the meeting.
