ICSK Junior conducts Satrarambh Assembly
An assembly is when the school community, or a part of it meets together to share important aspects of life and it acts as a medium for communicating matters of significance. Our school has been conducting assemblies with enthusiasm and planning in order to make a positive contribution to pupil’s development and therefore be at the heart of raising achievement and standards. During the second week of April, the students of ICSK Junior commenced the New academic year 2017-2018 with a series of special assemblies aptly named, ‘Satrarambh’

The symbolic assembly began with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran followed by the school prayer and an apt thought for the day, ‘Every day is a new beginning and treat it that way. Stay away from what might have been, and look at what can be’, was aptly delivered. The traditional lamp lighting ceremony marked the auspicious occasion and it was graced by the Principal, Vice-Principal, supervisors, class representatives, branch HOD and the assembly in-charges .
This was followed by a sombre all religion prayers recited along with the translation by the students. This helped to create a calm and a reflective mood. There was an exemplary speech by a student titled new beginning, to welcome all present to the new academic year. Melodious group songs ‘Ishwar Humko Do Vardan’ and ‘hey maalik tere bande hum’ were sung along with positive thoughts and earnest.
A welcome dance ‘Swagatham’ by the students of UKG A and B, all dressed in colourful costumes with each of them holding candles and singing along stole the show.
