Amir sends cable of thanks:

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Thursday sent a cable of thanks to Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for the warm reception and hospitality during the recent visit by His Highness the Amir to Doha.

His Highness the Amir expressed his happiness for the brotherly meeting with Sheikh Tamim that mirrored sentiments of love within the framework historic distinguished relations between the two countries.

The visit reflected keenness of the two sides on supporting the GCC march. His Highness the Amir wished Sheikh Tamim good health and Qatar everlasting progress and prosperity.

Meanwhile, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Thursday sent a cable of thanks to the UAE’s Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

In the cable, His Highness the Amir appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality shown to him and his accompanying official delegation during a visit to the UAE on Wednesday.

His Highness the Amir expressed pleasure over the “brotherly meeting” with UAE’s Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh, and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and the Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and other UAE senior officials, within the framework of the historical deep-rooted ties between the two countries.

The meeting reflected mutual keenness on promoting the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) march.

His Highness the Amir wished the UAE and its people more progress and prosperity under the leadership of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. (KUNA)
