Army man found dead
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: A 24-year-old GCC inmate of the Central Prison, who was serving a 10-year jail term has allegedly ended his life inside his cell by hanging himself with a rope made from his clothes, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The incident is being investigated by the authorities.
Meanwhile, the corpse of a military man has been referred to Forensics to identify the cause of death, reports Al-Jarida daily.
A security source said the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry was informed of the death by an unidentified person who saw the man slumped on the steering wheel of his vehicle which was parked in Qairawan.
Initial Forensic report has not ruled out murder. The victim is believed to be in his 30s.
In another incident, the corpse of an unidentified person has been referred to Forensics to identify the cause of death, reports Al-Rai daily.
A security source said the death was reported to the police by a Kuwaiti who said his friend suddenly lost consciousness inside his car which was parked opposite the Entertainment Park in Jahra.
The friend is being interrogated. And, 23-year-old GCC citizen died in a traffic accident on a road in Salmi, reports Al-Anba daily.
The corpse has been referred to Forensics.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
