NBK, LOYAC arrange trip to Tanzania
Kuwaiti youth to get to know different cultures on ‘Rafiyah’ tour
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) LOYAC arranged a trip for Kuwaiti youth to Tanzania. This one-week trip included social initiatives and activities with tribes to get to know different cultures and learn their daily life.
This sponsorship goes with NBK’s support to LOYAC’s annual activities and events including the trips. A group of volunteers from different backgrounds participated in this trip which was designed to build the humanitarian and adventurous skills in their personality.
The trip entitled “Rafiyah” included a visit to one of the schools to teach children the English language. The volunteers also had the chance to participate in a group of social initiatives as interacting with children at the orphanages, cleaning campaigns and donation for food or clothes. During this trip, participants were introduced to the tribes’ cultures and learn their daily life routine including several activities such as trying hunting with arrows and cooking.
