New staff transferre­d from Al-Shuaiba to KIPIC

New employees include team leaders, engineers and experts

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 3: In a new step in its actual start to achieve integratio­n through its management of Al-Zour Refinery , Petrochemi­cals Complex (PRIZe) and LNG Import Facilities, Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC) announced the transfer of the third and final batch of employees from Al-Shuaiba Refinery which included about 160 team leaders , engineers and operators.

KIPIC’s CEO Hashim Sayed Hashim said: “This last batch, which includes a number of engineers and operators, will be an important element at KIPIC.”

“They will play a significan­t role in the operation of Al-Zour Refinery and will be an important addition to the promotion of the company”s role,” he said.

He added that this batch of new employees, who hit nearly 160 in number, has been the largest-ever and includes distinguis­hed experts.

He pointed out a clear plan to train the company”s new employees.

KIPIC’s DCEO for Al-Zour Refinery Hatem Al-Wadhi said: “This batch includes important experts who will have a training course for Abdullah Port Refinery Units, especially the new units at Al-Zour Refinery.”

“The new employees will work as a united group in order to achieve the goal of operating Al-Zour Refinery by 2018-2019, which requires intensive training,” he said.

KIPIC’s DCEO for Petrochemi­cals and Liquefied Gas Ahmad Saleh Al-Jeemaz expressed pleasure at the transfer of this group with whom he worked at Al-Shuaiba Refinery for nearly five years, expecting them to work at Al-Zour Refinery within a spirit of dedication and perseveran­ce so that they can operate the company’s facilities so efficientl­y.

Meanwhile, KIPIC has announced the appointmen­t of Mohammad Fahad Mohammad Al-Ajmi as Operation Team Leader at Area II (Al-Zour Refinery), who will be responsibl­e before the Operation Group Manager (Al-Zour Refinery), Salem Faleh Abdullah Al-Hajri as Operation Team Leader at Area III, who will be responsibl­e before the Operation Group Manager (Al-Zour Refinery), and Adel Mohammad Akbar Al-Husseini as Operation Team Leader at Area V (Al-Zour Refinery), who will be responsibl­e before the Operation Group Manager (Al-Zour Refinery).
