‘Nothing wrong’:

After over two years of “Nothing wrong” by some doctors in Farwaniya Hospital, the reason for the suffering of a six-year boy was finally figured out — a plastic whistle inside one of his lungs, reports Al-Rai daily.

After the whistle was discovered in the boy’s lung using a bronchoscope, his father wrote on his Twitter account, “We thank Farwaniya Hospital for neglecting our child for two years”.

According to the head of the Farwaniya Hospital, the boy was admitted at the hospital last Monday because he was suffering from high temperatures and cough. X rays revealed that he was suffering from pneumonia.

Head of the Pediatric Department explained that a CT scan was performed on the child because he had previously suffered from pneumonia. The doctors then noticed a strange object in his lung and referred him to the Chest Hospital last Thursday for a pulmonary operation.

The doctors there removed the object, which turned out to be a plastic whistle.

The child is currently admitted in the ward and is of stable health condition. He will continue to receive necessary treatment for the next two days and then go home and follow-up with the treating doctors.
