KUWAIT CITY, Oct 8: The official spokesperson of Public Authority for Manpower and Director of Public Relations and Media Department Aseel Al-Maseed disclosed that the authority has issued an administrative circular No. 82/2017 regarding work permits for owners of small and medium enterprises whose files were transferred from Al-Sadiq Center to the concerned labor departments upon their request, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

She said the concerned labor departments where the employers’ files were referred to will reevaluate the needs related to the files and adopt the evaluation before transferring the files.

Al-Maseed explained that the owner of the file should keep the work permits issued to him by the labor department of the small and medium enterprises at Al-Sadiq Center, provided he is allowed to re-evaluate his needs with the concerned labor department to which the file is transferred by maximum of four work permits only.

Meanwhile, undersecretary at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor Saad Al-Kharaz has issued a decision suspending the transfer of ministry employees from one department to another or within the same department until further notice, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Al-Kharaz said the decision, which took effect from Oct 2, was issued at the recent meeting of assistant undersecretaries, and it’s in harmony with the ministry’s strategy on job stability. He stressed the step will pave the way for successful completion of the employee assessment report in the course of the year to avoid injustice.
