Meanwhile, Director General of the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) Eng Faisal Al-Hassawi disclosed the authority has completed its plan to give each deserving Kuwaiti family a farm on the border of Kuwait within the next five months, reports Al-Anba daily.
Al-Hassawi pointed out it will be controlled distribution to ensure farms are given to deserving families who fulfill certain conditions. He also said the distribution will be announced officially.
Al-Hassawi said the conditions include the Kuwaiti family which does not possess any agricultural land or animal pen or any special possession whether it was granted by the authority or owned or bought by the family.
This is in addition to having an innovative plan to irrigate these farms to reduce dependence on water particularly since the authority suffers from the problem of water scarcity.
