FBC 89th Winter Cup enters second week eliminations

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 4: The Filipino Badminton Committee in Kuwait (FBC) 89th regular Badminton tournament dubbed “the Winter Cup” entered its second week as games went off to a running start with several thrilling matches. The elimination games continued to heat up on Friday at the Kuwait Disabled Sports Club in Hawally with veteran and amateur badminton players participating in the event. Players smashed and swooshed their rackets as they battled it out to reach the finals.

Meanwhile, it was also actionpacked in the Winner-Take-All event. Here are the winners in the WTA-Novice 3 (Open Doubles) respectively.

Simultaneously, FBC members Ferrylyn Rivera & Elma Falguera treated everyone to a sumptuous lunch as they celebrated their birthday with the group. FBC is inviting all badminton enthusiasts to join every Friday in the regular tournament from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm that includes the WinnerTake-All one day tournament.
