KUWAIT CITY, Feb 12: Civil Service Commission (CSC) will facilitate the employment of the children of Kuwaiti woman in ministries if there are no Kuwaiti applicants for the specializations sought by ministries or other state bodies, reports Al-Anba daily quoting informed sources.

They explained that most of these positions will not be permanent and will not include financial incentives besides wages, as these financial incentives are exclusively for Kuwaiti citizens. Those with low educational qualifications will receive wages for their work but no other advantages including yearly vacation. The highly qualified among them like doctors, engineers, computer technicians and lawyers will be appointed based on yearly contracts that will be renewed based on the need of the concerned body.

The sources said CSC has stopped receiving complaints from Kuwaiti employees due to high work pressure at CSC, indicating that CSC will however continue to receive complaints from Kuwaiti employees who visit CSC via the state institution they work for.

Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Hamed Al-Azmi has denied rumors spread on social networking websites that some buildings in Shadadiya University will be allocated for private universities, reports Al-Anba daily.

Al-Azmi reiterated the rumors are baseless, affirming the State needs bigger space to accommodate the growing student population in public universities.
