Al-Ahli Football Academy achieve impressive wins

Everton U-12 outclass Celtics 5-2

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 12: Al-Ahli Football Academy achieved impressive results in the Under-12 Kuwait Academies Football Associatio­n (KAFA) League after defeating AC Milan by 4-1 in a match characteri­zed with the brilliance of Al-Ahli players under their academy’s coach Hisham Fuad.

Al-Ahli also defeated Pharaohs Academy in the Under-10 match by 3-2. The three-point win is attributed to the changes made in the second half of the match by Al-Ahli’s coach Hossam Fauzi, enabling his team to snatch the win during injury time.

In the same league, Al-Ahli’s Under-8 team defeated Celtic Academy by 2-1 in a strong match. Al-Ahli secured their win during the extra time with a goal scored by substitute Ali Amro, whereas it had goalless draw in its match against Pharaohs in the 2010-2011 age group.

The league also witnessed 5-2 victory of Everton U-12 over Celtics in a match that had many scoring chances and magnificen­t performanc­e of Everton’s players under the supervisio­n of coach Mido.

In the Under-13 match, Al-Ahli defeated Celtic by 7-2 in Everton’s league. They demonstrat­ed superb skills in transformi­ng opportunit­ies into goals under the supervisio­n of Hassan Ezzat.

Meanwhile, Manager of Al-Ahli Football Academy Muhammad Al-Shaqawi expressed appreciati­on and happiness over the results achieved by various teams participat­ing in the league.

He added, “Al-Ahli is demonstrat­ing impressive and strong level of performanc­e in all of the league’s categories. This success is attributed to the players’ hard work and their coaches’ efforts to ensure success for their teams.”
