Faculty of Destistry to organize 17th Conference for ‘KuDAR’
Bid to promote research activities
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 19: The Faculty of Dentistry — Kuwait University is organizing 17th Conference for Kuwait Association for Dental Research (KuDAR) tited “Innovations in Dentistry” which will be held under the Patronage of the President of Kuwait University Professor Husian Al-Ansari on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
The Chairman of the Conference of (KuDAR), Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr Adel Al-Asfour mentioned that the conference is part of the cooperation activities between the Faculty of Dentistry — Kuwait University and the International Association for Dental Research to promote research activities, and that the conference will discuss the scientific updates in Oral Dental Research at the local and international levels.
The speakers of the conference Professor Arai Yoshinori, Nihon University — Japan will talk about the “Advances in Maxillofacial Radiography” and Professor Kerstin M. Galler — Regensburg University-Germany will discuss the updates in “Dental Pulp Regeneration and Repair — Vital Pulp Therapies and Revitalization.”

Social Development Sector in the Ministry of Social Affairs has been organizing campaigns to raise funds for the victims of mudslides and floods in the Philippines, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily quoting Assistant Undersecretary for Social Development in the Ministry of Social Affairs Hassan Kazem stated the sector has set out on campaigns, simultaneously with the collection of donations for Syrians refugees fleeing to neighboring states, dubbed “Winter Warmer.” He urged charities authorized to collect donations to apply for extension at the ministry if necessary, indicating approval of extension is the only way to save them from legal procedures.
