IBAK to hold IBAK-Pizza Hut ‘Masters Cup’ 2018
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 19: The Indian Badminton Association of Kuwait will organize the first badminton this year the IBAK-Pizza Hut Masters Cup 2018 on Feb 22 and Feb 23 at the IBAK Salwa Gym (Saad Al Awzi School).
The tournament will be inaugurated by HE the Ambassador of India to Kuwait on Thursday Feb 22 at 7.00 pm. Capt Ali Al Marri, president of the Kuwait Badminton Federation will grace the event with other top dignities from the Kuwait Badminton Federation and media.
The title sponsor of the event is the Kout Food Group (Pizza Hut) and other sponsors for their continuous support and cooperation. The Kout Food Group is sponsoring this event for the second consecutive year.
Competitions in a whopping six categories will be held during the course of the event in which hundreds of players of different nationalities are expected to participate.
Tournament will showcase badminton in all categories such as Flight 1: Men’s Doubles (Professional Level), Flight 2: Men’s Doubles (Advanced Level), Flight 3: Doubles Open for all genders (Intermediate Level), Flight 4: Doubles Open for all genders (Lower Intermediate Level), Above 40: Men’s Doubles, Age cut off 15/02/2018, (Open for all except professional level) Singles. The tournament is open for all.
