CP to patronize ceremony:

His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah will patronize the 25th Crown Prince’s Karate Championship closing ceremony, organized by the Kuwaiti Karate Federation.

His Highness deputized Governor of Hawally, Lt Gen (rtd) Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to attend the ceremony at the headquarters of the Kuwaiti Karate Federation at 5:00 pm today (Tuesday). (KUNA)

Kuwait last among GCC nations:

In an index on efficiency of governmental expenditure, Kuwait fell in last place among Gulf countries, 9th place among Arab countries and 59th internationally, reports Al-Qabas daily.

This was included in the latest index of World Economic Forum on the efficiency of governments in spending and non-wastage of public funds particularly expenditure of governmental revenues on enterprises, initiatives, services and commodities.

KRCS to participate:

Kuwait Red Crescent Society will take part in the 43rd meeting of the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization due in Baghdad on April 20-21.

KRCS Secretary General Maha Al-Barjas said in remarks to KUNA on Monday that the scheduled meeting would tackle humanitarian issues in a number of states, witnessing conflicts and armed strifes, with aim of securing aid for people in need. (KUNA)
