Kuwaiti singer in fest:

Renowned Kuwaiti singer Ab­dul­lah Ruwaished also known as the Am­bas­sador of Gulf Song will take part in the ac­tiv­i­ties of the 33rd Gar­ish Fes­ti­val (2018) with a va­ri­ety of his old and new songs, re­ports Al-Qabas daily.

Stu­dents at cafes:

A num­ber of sec­ondary school stu­dents, who are be­low 18 years old, are seen in cafés and shisha places wear­ing their school uni­forms, re­ports Al-Rai daily.

It seems these stu­dents usu­ally es­cape from their schools due to the ab­sence of strict su­per­vi­sion which is re­quired to cor­rect these mis­be­hav­ing youths.

Ac­tor film­ing se­ries:

Ac­tor Mo­ham­mad Jab­ber Al-Adiroussi con­tin­ues the film­ing of his se­ries which will be aired in Ra­madan, re­ports Al-Anba daily.

Al-Adiroussi told the daily that he is do­ing three se­ries with the par­tic­i­pa­tion of other Kuwaiti and Gulf stars.

He con­firmed com­ple­tion of the film­ing of his new drama, “With Hesa Pen,” in which he ap­pears with other ac­tors like Hayat Al-Fa­had, Zahra Al-Kharji, Ya­coub Ab­dul­lah, Mishari Al-Balaam and Basim Ab­dul Amir.

Talk­ing about his two other se­ries, Al-Adiroussi dis­closed one is a Gulf drama en­ti­tled, “With­out Fil­ter,” and the other has yet to be an­nounced.

Piano con­cert or­gan­ised:

The Turk­ish Em­bassy in Kuwait, in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Dar Al-Athar Al-Is­lamiyyah (DAI), or­ga­nized a piano con­cert by renowned Turk­ish pi­anist Tu­luy­han Ugurlu en­ti­tled, “Is­tan­bul — a World Cap­i­tal,” at Yar­mouk Cul­tural Cen­tre re­cently, re­ports Al-Qabas daily.

Ugurlu cap­ti­vated the au­di­ence with a reper­toire from his 2005 mu­si­cal com­po­si­tion which de­picts the beauty of Is­tan­bul through mu­sic. The com­po­si­tion be­gins with the words of Napoleon Bon­a­parte: “If the world were a sin­gle coun­try, the cap­i­tal would be Is­tan­bul.” It has been per­formed suc­cess­fully in more than 450 con­certs around the world. The con­cert at Yar­mouk Cul­tural Cen­tre fea­tured se­lect pieces from the com­po­si­tion in­clud­ing Is­tan­bul, a World Cap­i­tal; The City Where the Three Re­li­gions Live in Har­mony; The World’s Old­est Shop­ping Cen­ter: The Grand Bazaar; Is­tan­bul – Minarets and Tow­ers: Si­nan; A Love Story of Is­tan­bul and the Tulip; Spir­i­tual Sul­tans of Is­tan­bul and Au­tumn in Is­tan­bul.
