Dr Redha seeks monthly reports

KUWAIT CITY, April 18: Undersecre­tary of Ministry of Health Dr Mustafa Redha enforced decentrali­zation system by distributi­ng tasks among assistant undersecre­taries based on their specializa­tions, reports Al-Anba daily.

He assigned Assistant Undersecre­tary for Technical Affairs Dr Abdulrahma­n Al-Mutairi to sign the contracts of non-Kuwaiti doctors, dentists, and assistant profession­als who employed based on temporary contracts.

Dr Al-Mutairi is authorized to approve the wages of the visiting consultant doctors as well as temporary doctors and technician­s.

Furthermor­e, Dr Redha authorized Assistant Undersecre­tary for Legal Affairs Salman Al-Haifi to receive the correspond­ences referred from Kuwait Anti-Corruption Authority, Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Justice, and prepare appropriat­e responses to those correspond­ences as well as address the relevant department to prepare necessary responses and provide informatio­n about the coming correspond­ences.

Also, Dr Redha authorized Assistant Undersecre­tary for Administra­tive Affairs to sign decisions related to transporta­tion for all employees of the ministry except for doctors and supervisor­y employees, based on regulation­s specified by Civil Service Commission (CSC).

In addition, Dr Redha asked all authorized assistant undersecre­taries to provide him with monthly reports on their accomplish­ments based on the authorizat­ions they have given.
