MoH request delayed:
Supervisory bodies have postponed taking a decision concerning the request of Ministry of Health for the renewal of the health insurance contract for students, who are sent to Britain for education on scholarship, for one year from May 5 at a total cost of KD 807,000, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting informed sources from the ministry.
They revealed that the ministry has requested the supervisory bodies for extension of the general treatment contract due to lack of attractive price offers during this period and lack of knowledge about the number of students to be included in the health insurance.
The sources clarified that the supervisory bodies postponed the approval of the first renewal of health insurance for students in Britain, indicating about upcoming meetings with these bodies to follow up the renewal of contracts.
